Hello everyone,

I would like cordially introduce myself to everyone. My name is Ray and I've just been bit by the multi-rotor bug!:frog: I've always been into RC type devices but now as I've seen all these videos with FPV systems long range, I have decided to build one myself. I have a background of electronics and was in the Marines for 5 years working on Aviation Electronics and component systems. I look forward to interacting with others, and hopefully when I gain any knowledge, I will be able to help others, along with learning for myself. Hope to hear from everybody...let the learning begin!

Hi fltundra, I reside close to you as well! Mine is still being built, motors and aimdroix alum extended arms come in today for me. We should def meet up one of these days, although I'm new flying but gonna figure it out!

I'm out on the beach
I have a 330 dji that I play w fpv goggles in the parking lot with, and I have a 500 size with 11" props that I am using for video.. I have a larger 15" prop quad with a heavier camera on it, but that one has never really gone anywhere yet.. just kinda like my corvette in the garage or something.. lol.. the more I work on it and add to it, the more scared I am to go far with it.. lol.. I also am trying to practice some 3d flying with helicopters.. not sure if u guys have any, or can prob teach me a few things with them.. and why cant I start a new paragraph??? lol..

My first build i had the aimdroix arms, and have since changed over to Aerial mob cf's (bigger props.) But yes, would be great to see your build and do some flying!
What FC are you going to use? I fly SuperX.

We all should meet up sometime when Ray gets his bird ready. Haven't met up with any locals to fly so far.

I'm down! Just checked ups and had the motors, arms, props delivered. Gonna do some building this weekend!
