Hi everyone, im craig , new to the multirotor scene!

a keen photographer and ROV pilot for a living, this took my interest a few years ago, and i decided to take the plunge and build a multirotor....im currently building a heavy lift set up for aerial photography....but in the meantime i have thrown together a f550 to tide me over and get some aerial video and photography in the process

spec as follows

1000Kv RCT motors (nsk bearings)
9" RCT Carbon fibre props - 10" gaupners on for a trial at the min
DSM2 Reciever
200mw video Tx
minim osd module
Circular Polarised Antenna set (skew planner & cloverleaf 5.8ghz)
7" Lcd Fpv monitor mounted to 9x for flight data
Fatshark dominators for fov with sony fpv cam
Turnigy 9x
ardupilot battery monitor system
AeroXcraft landing gear
Chinese bought 2 axis brushless gimbal
go pro 3 black edition

currently running Turnigy 3s 5000mah Lipos and have some 4000 mah lipos too, still playing with battery set ups etc

im new to video editing too and have recently started making some edits...really happy with the footage im getting so far!

very cool, go get me some great footage of Stonehaven and the castle so i can do the nostalgia thing. There is a guy up your way getting some very cool action footage at the nearest sk fields in winter. Not you is it?

Thank you! Haha, im actually heading to Findlater castle today, not quite as stunning as stonehaven, but similar and built into the cliffside!

ill get stonehaven in an evening or early morning soon when its not swarmed with tourists! Just home from a 7 week trip offshore so trying to get an hour or two flying in each day, build up some footage for editing!

no its not me with the winter footage, however id love to see the footage and get in contact with whoever it is, i dont know anyone else who flies, im actually 50 miles east of aberdeen, in Buckie, a small fishing villiage.

Thanks again for looking

I know the feeling, I set an objective now, or else I end up driving miles rubbernecking, and going blank and getting nought. generally you cant see anything from the road, I scan google earth looking for good spots. I just like filming natural stuff actually, kinda run out of monuments and all that in my area. like to shoot woods and cliffs and water and stuff where nobody bothers you, Historic Scotland are non too cooperative either.
Who are you working for at the moment? Oceaneering myself.
