HFP auto level all of the sudden wont switch off

I havent changed a thing. Never even opened the software, no reason as everything works really really well. But last time I flew the manual/auto level switch didnt change anything. i tried starting with it off and turning it off mid air, nothing. The monitor on the tx says it is working. I am about to check the assistant to see if the check box works. But why would this happen? Seems the range of value can be pretty off in the switch for it to trigger the change.

I figured out what happened. By default my sticks in the all forward position had gps rth on. I had recently changed the radio settings so the forward was gps off so I could visually check the switches in preflight. So in GPS mode it is automatically in auto-level which is why i couldnt switch into manual. Good thing the gps takes 5 minutes to establish or i might have flown into a building!

On 4.6r2 (before rolling back to 4.3.802) twice I took off with AL on and despite the led going blue, it didn't engage. Embarrassing as I have D/R also on the AL switch so not only was it not engaged but super-sensitive. It needed a repower before AL worked.

I'm also on 4.3.802 and despite this small overlook on my part it is solid as a rock. A rock that flies really well of course
