First off I am new to this forum. This is actually the first MR forum That I am a member of. I wasnt planning on getting this in depth into this hobby but I have found peace and fun in it so I am hooked now.
To start with I am currently flying the following:
DJI F550
Naza M V2 w/osd min/ BTU
DJI E300 propulsion system
3s 5000 Mah 25c
3S 5000 Mah 35c
4s 5000 Mah 40c
(i fly with one or the other batteries)
I have the typical tall H style landing gear
tarot 2D gimbal
gopro hero3 silver addition
total weight with 4s battery is right at 2500 grams
I use a Hitec aurora 9 transmitter and Hitec optima 9 receiver
The MR flies well (as it is overweight) for the current motor/prop/esc setup. I get about 4-5 minutes of flight time with the 3s batteries and about 7-8 minutes of flight time with the 4s. times depend on wind and how aggressive I am with it.
I mainly do aerial filming of drag racing events/mud races as well as corporate construction projects. so flight time is pretty critical for me.
My question is I am sure that differant motors and props will help with flight times as well as stability and other vital procedures needed.
What would be a good or the best combination of motors/esc/props needed. would like to go 2 battery setup if possible but thats alot of weight and i would assume that i would be better off changing platforms at that time.
any help would great on this topic and I thank you all for the help.
