I am a NAZA user & want to buy YS controller.

My next build will be an octo with 1000 mm M2M distance. It will be loaded with 3 axis mount, FPV & DSLR.

YS X4 supports octo configuration & all those stuff that a user wants like follow me, fly encircle etc. My question is
  1. What is the difference between X4 & X6 featurewise?
  2. Also please explain difference between X6 basic, standard, enhanced & profession versions other than number of way points.
  3. One more thing I want to know if difference between X4 WIFI & Navigator versions.

Thanks

Hey buddy, I will do my best. To be honest, I think people are not responding because the information you are asking is easy accessible with a little search query. But don't worry, I understand the question. I hate it when people immediately jump into conclusions, recommendations etc. without asking questions.

Can you tell me a little bit more about your octo setup, purpose etc? :)

Thanks Richirich for the help.

Currently I am flying a 600 mm quad with NZA & GPS. I am doing aerial video/photo from it. I want more payload capacity & flight time. So I am thinking of upgrading to Octo. Additionally octo will offer redundancy also. I have short listed to Tarrot Ironman 1000 mm octo & motor combination. It is a proven setup by many. When I come to FC, I want to choose between YS X4 & X6. Both are offering octo support. So why should I choose X6 instead of X4? This my question.

Hi Surye. To be honest and if I am wrong please correct me people, the fuctionality of both FC's are practically the same. This is also the same for the hardware components. People are speculating that the YS-X6 might have better sensors, but that's still an assumption/guess.

To be frank, the YS-X6 only takes more room on your copter. But beware, if you fly an octo, you are not able to connect a gimbal if you use an YS-X4, you have to use something like a Picloc, Skyline, Radion etc.

My suggestion is to go with the YS-X4, but that's personal.
