Hi guys,
I do have bit of problem here.. :) I did try to run "superx.exe" from my Xaircraft controller with my PC (Windows8) as usual.
Well - for some reason my virus scanner (Avast) decide that superx.exe file is a virus and delete it without asking anything!! :D Damn...

I do have backup file but it is too old (for older firmware). Any change somebody would be kind enough and send that file for me via e-mail maybe? I think I do have a latest firmware installed.

My setup is Xaircraft SuperX Professional @ Tarot 690S hex frame with T-Motors

Btw: Is SuperX firmware site down? After typing my FC ID and pressing SUBMIT... nothing happen.. :/

Thank you guys!

Take no prisoners
SuperX.exe resides in the FC itself not on your computer, no virus would be able to get to that I wouldn't think, as it is not Win OS code, something else is wrong with your system and XA site is not down

David is right. The superx would not be effected at all unless perhaps you ran avast with the superx plugged in??? Even then it would surprise me that it would grab an exe file.

I can't find the exact link but following the xaircraft firmware upgrade you should find the superX.exe is in the folder you download.....

[h=2]Firmware 1.08 and Software 1.0.8.2 released![/h]Here is what is new: 1. Added: GPS position hold without Compass input. This feature works if the compass has failed or suffers from interference but still has 6 or more GPS satellites connected. In order to determine its heading, the aircraft needs to travel a small circle once the compass has stopped functioning. 2. Added: “Xcope Model” in superx.exe v1.0.8.2 3. Improved: Attitude control in all flight modes. 4. Improved: Flight stabilisation. 5. Improved: Manual mode flight controllability.
Upgrade instructions: 1) Plug the SuperX into your computer with power on. The SuperX drive should appear. It looks like a typical USB storage drive and should appear as a drive that is around 1.43MB on your computer.
2) Open the Drive and go into the "Log" folder. Delete any log files that are there. **IMPORTANT**
3) Open the software SuperX.exe that is currently on your SuperX. **Take note of any settings you have changed such as gains and OSD settings because the new software will reset the SuperX to its defaults**. Go to the "Info" tab and click the "Upgrade" button. This will open a webpage with your downloads. This is also a good time to take note of your SuperX ID so you can get back to this page in the future.
4) Download BOTH the 1.08 firmware AND software. Click the gray area that says "___ Edition 1.08" to download the firmware and click the gray area that says "SuperX v1.0.8.2' to download the new software. NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE AND KNOW WHERE IT IS PRIOR TO UPGRADING IT WILL NOT WORK.
4) Open the SuperX folder on your computer. Drag the new SuperX.exe file into the drive and replace the old one. This may take a minute.
5) When that is done click on the SuperX application. It should give a message that says "Configurator Version Mismatching". This just means that the firmware does not match the software.
6) Drag the firmware file into the root folder of the drive. Eject the drive from your computer and unplug the USB.
7) Unplug your battery to power cycle the SuperX. Plug the battery back in and you should see fast flashing red and green lights after it initializes. When the flashing stops the new firmware is good to go. Plug it back into your computer, open the SuperX software, and check that your firmware and software versions are now good. Be sure to readjust your gains, profile, RTH, and OSD settings.
8) IMPORTANT! Recalibrate your mid stick, high sticks, and compass per the manual or my videos.

Might have to contact drew for a link to the files, don't see it on his site

Hi guys,
And that you for your replies :)

When I connect superx controller to my PC via USB it is mapped as H: drive and that is the place where I run that superx.exe.
Avast is able to access external drives also and do check every .exe file when I run it. So that is what happen.

Well it did suprise me also when Avast virus scanner deside that superx.exe has a virus and delete without warning or asking anything - It just say to me that delete was successfull. :D
Too bad Avast didn't store it to any virusvault or anything - it simply delete it. Last time update was just fine and simple and I have started that same file many times without any problem.

Any chance somebody could send that "superx.exe" for me? I would be great first help for me.

I tried to download latest software/firmware from their site but this is what I get.. :/ Black box in this picture is my SuperX serial number from the Superx package. After I press SUBMIT --> this happens.

Sorry for spamming.. ;) I reply to myself.. :)

I manage to find that file from China site.. http://www.xaircraft.cn/superx/upgrade/ and actually few versions of it. I manage to download superx.exe versions: 1.0.8.3, 1.0.6.1, 1.0.6 and 1.0.5.
Hope some of those will match firmware version that I do have installed at my controller.

And when I did try to download those files... Avast online-protector did pop-up again. False alarm.. have to add exception rule to be able to handle that file.

So if you are using AVAST - be careful and not too bad idea to make backup from that file ;)

I will try those files later today.
