I am just an ol man from Tennessee. new to multirotors. I've been toying with one of those mini multirotors to get the hang of it. Was hoping to start gathering some parts for a build. Can anyone tell me the disadvantage/ advantage of using a carbon fiber aircraft?

I just started so I can't speak from a wealth of experience but we flipped ours twice and I firmly believe if it wasn't carbon fiber, much like the flame wheel, we would have been replacing arms. I believe it saves on weight without sacrificing structural stability.

Think I will give the carbon fiber frame a try. I like the idea that it is light weight and very strong.
