Hi all, just a quick hello from the Northeast of England. Been flying RC aircraft and a 400 size heli for many years but now building a hexa for video work. I now have most of the parts needed but still waiting for the frame, this will be a Droidworks AD6 heavy lift 360 frame with Photohigher AV200 360 mount, DJI WKM FC and Pulso U28 motors. Will post some images once I have all the parts and updates on the build.

Hi Geoff,

Frame and mount are from Heliguy as they are close to me, all other equipment from various suppliers including a ESC power distribution PCB from Photoshipone. Total spend so far is about £3.5K, the next purchase once I have the craft "UP" and running will be to add a picloc for camera and add remote operation by second camera op.

hi Iceman.
Welcome to MRF. What camera are you looking at fitting to your setup? I am also looking at picloc but release dates are still secretive/sketchy from what i can make out. What kind of stuff are you looking at filming? hopefully you will find this forum as helpful as I have.

Hi Z, looking to lift gopro and Panasonic GH2, not at the same time, GH2 because you use cheap vintage lenses of various focal length. I have my own video production company and will have many and varied uses for the setup. Just received the framevand gimbal so I now have all parts ready to build. Using 13" 6.5 props that I'm am balancing now.
