At the moment im trying to learn to fly with a toygrade quad, while i do the research and over time gradually order the parts for/build my own quad.

Welcome to the site Varney! Sounds like you are beginning the hobby in the best, most responsible way. Learn the ropes on the smaller quad, and then build your own so you know how to fix it when it breaks (and it will!) :)

Make sure you start posting up some pics so we can see what you're working on.

Hey Varney,

From Belgium myself. Only started in July and already very much hooked! Got two builds working. A QAV 250 mini and a 450mm.
It is a lot of fun and you are going to crash, that is for sure, it is part of the hobby.

I am still learning to fly. I have done a couple of FPV flights and it is fun!
Trying to get as much flight time as possible, also with the toy quad!

If you need some advice or want to go flying let me know.
