Hi everyone. I am deaf a newbie as I am a graphic designer attempting to get into the realms of Unmanned Aerial Photography and Videography as part of my business.
This seems like a very good forum with a lot of decent comments and stuff. I am looking forward to being a part of this.
As a newbie I am very keen to learn and hopefully get my new business venture off the ground! (ha ha ha!)
Anyway, it's sunny here in Glasgow (unbelievable I know) at the moment and with a mild wind - ideal flying weather me thinks!

Thank you Carapau. As I am looking to change my career from a graphic designer to an aerial photographer/videographer, I thought this could be a good place to start. As well as learning a lot I would also like to pass on any experiences and knowledge I get too so here's hoping.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Welcome Keith. I'm not far from you down at the Tail O' the bank. This is a great forum and you will find everything you need to know to get you started. I started off by wanting to buy an out of the box Ready To Fly hexacopter but I was also more interested in how they work and how you build them. There are plenty of videos and tutorials to get you going. I am still building my hexacopter but should be finished in time for summer. Have a look at the group builds section under beginners section of the forum. Mine is based on a DJI F550 and has Aeroxcraft aluminium arms & landing gear, gopro hero4........
