HDMI GH3 No Video

I have a question about the wiring from the zen to the iosd. The cable u have to solder together. If I am seeing it correctly it is a four pin connector ground power av1 and av2. I think I may have wired it wrong. I wired ground av1 and power which looking back on the diagram it only shows ground and av1 could this be affecting anything?

This is mind bending. That wasnt it and I went setting by setting in the camera nothing yet

Hey Matt,

I don't think the problem is your monitor. If it displays the live feed then it should display whilst recording.

I just read this review and he mentions the 'Lumix Link' stops during recording (at the end of the second blog post, Thursday 3rd January):

He doesn't mention how to solve it though.

Hopefully someone with a GH3 and downlink will suddenly think of the answer.

Ben.

So we made some progress tonight. We unplugged the SBUS and ran the shut straight to channel 5 which is the spring loaded channel switch on the futaba 8fg and it totaly works fine. Once I move it back to sbus the monitor goes black but you can still see the iosd. Any thoughts? I would really like to take advantage of the Sbus.

WooHoo! Sounds like you're narrowing down the problem. Can you not just leave the bypass in place? You're then ready to go out and start flying!

Wow so I finally figured it out!!! The trim was set to far on the switch the turned on and off the hdmi/av tab in the zen software so when I hit on it was going to far and not turning it on so I dropped it down until it lite up red in the software and it works perfect. I guess I would have checked this sooner but I jus t found it ood that even if the switch is off it still shows live feed until u start recording. Anyway all good to go! Thanks ben!
