Hdmi converter BLack Magic Pocket

Hi
Im using the BMPC for aerial shooting.
Im using a Kopterworx HDMI Konverter to get a Pal signal
That i can see on the control Monitor.

The Problem is that the Konverter cuts the lower status line away.
It is not possible to see if the camera is running.

Is there anybody using something different thats working better?

all fpv monitors come with several different pal and ntsc types, it's in the monitors settings. try getting to that and flip through the various types of pal and ntsc cause sometimes those work better mismatched than on what you'd think it's suppose to be on. just boot it all up and switch settings, it shows if it works or not right away

Yes that's known issue with kopterworx converter, same problem here. It's annoying especially when shooting raw as it crops the rec indicator. My freefly converter worked perfectly showing all information but it break up in last week shooting and cant find them anywhere. I ordered "mini hdmi to av" converter to see if it works, not sure though is it the same unit as kopterworx converter. Anyone found working converter type?

The mini hdmi2 Av ( white box )
Didnt work good.
It was showing the rec symbol,
But the lower half of the picture was jittering....
I ordered now the one from goodbuylucky.

Are you the kari that is like me working on the carvec stabilisation ?

i bought a kopterworx hdmi converter for my black magic pocket, but the device is not working at all, not even with my nex5n, or my GH2....
so i have been emailing them for a refund/repair, or whatever....and there is no response at all.

looks like im stuck with a bad 150 dollars hdmi converter.......what a BS.

I also had these kind of problems with Kopterworx. It was a broke video transmitter. No mail answer in 8 weeks. After this i send the transmitter there and i got a new one very fast....

Maybe try it.

Hi Jochen,

Yes, the same guy Too bad can't find freefly converters anywhere, i think it's not in their interests anymore. They were best converters so far tested, little expensive though. But it's even more expensive and frustrating to test all non working junks through. If someone knows well working converter, really appreciate sharing the model.
