H-Quad mag interference?

Finished building my quad with APM2.5.2 +GPS.
Did "Save Trim" on my quad w/ APM2.5.2 for the first time - success! :)

But then I checked for interference using Mission Planner "compassmot"
The results:
-at 10% throttle: 57% of mag field
-at 50% throttle : 151% of mag field
-at 80% throttle: 229% of mag field
:eek:


What can I do to lower the interference? Do I need to buy and external GPS/compass? Do I need to shield more?

I'm not familiar with the APM FCs in particular - but I know that multiwii (and all of them probably) can benefit from a mag on the GPS (or separated somehow). For testing, you can power down anything extra you think may be causing interference (FPV, gopro etc) and check while you power up each thing individually. GoPro is notorious for causing interference - many people have luck with wrapping it with copper. To be safe, I have places copper tape under my GPS puck which holds the mag.
