Hi Folks!
Just bought my first multirotor a coupple of days ago.
I've never flown anything but now my job requires some innovation and Drones are the way to go .
i'll ask neewbie stuff and hope to grow up and become a perfect pilot with the help of the community.

Hi Cris,
i'm a professional camera operator since 1990.
Practiced as an assistant photographer in Milano ( italy, where i grow up for a while) since 1982. I've been working and sometimes producing myself for all kind of visual media in the last 20 years or so. You name it , i did it.
I quit working for broadcasting companies, TV Networks and News Providers 3 years ago. I needed a quieter life and i moved to awesome Ticino and build up a family. Now i run a shop in Ascona but i'm missing my job so i decided to start again with my professional skills. There's a lot of work to do for real estate, local environment protection and several other situations. Besides, i race R/C cars since i was 13 y.o. and i keep practicing R/C Cars racing when i have some time for it .

INNOVATION: the visual point of view you can get out of a Camera hanged on a fliyng gimbal vs. my creativity. ;)

Thats cool....I just hope you are prepared for a lot of fun with Aerial filming....and some headache keeping this damn Copters in the air....but since you are "pre-educated" from RC-cars it should not be to difficoult for you....lots of nice guys here on the forum....and now one more from Switzerland. But also be prepaired to get questions from us concerning film and photo :nevreness:

BTW:....which RC-cars are in your garage....?

You wanna know anything....just ask

Chris

Thanks Chris it wont take so much to ask the first questions:
My R/C Cars are; Corally SL 1/10, Associated TC6 ( Yokomo BD7 on the way) , Serpent 811E Cobra, Tamiya Sand Scorcher, Axial Honcho, Traxxas 1/16th Revo VXL.
Well i just started with the build of a DJI's 550/WKM+multipoint ( full)/ Futaba T8FG Super. Since i downloaded the instruction booklets i found out i will encounter some difficulties with the WKM set up .. . quite scared of doing wrong things, the package is a bit expensive ( this is my training gear, as soon as i will learn,a bigger rig will carry the "serious instruments") . Planning to use a Nex5 on it i don't know yet wich 2 axis gimble to look for . . . i'm on a threads scanning phase right now .
