For those that aren't hanging out at fpvlab to find out these things, trappy is offering graupner 9x5 on his store for $24.00 a set of four, that's $6 a prop. of course he's in austria so shipping is $15, but if you got 2 sets your already money ahead compared to v-east. They get me for $20+ shipping for a set of four props think the other local shops in the states get $10-$11 ea

wow! Thanks Kloner 2 sets are about to get ordered. 8 props78$ shipped. HAD TO EDIT POST, bad math this early in the morning. Regardless they are ordered and a great deal, thanks for posting. On another note, thanks again for your help the other day with radio tray, after much trial and error - pelican like case on tripod :) havent had chance to try it out yet.

makes it hard to stop at one, like potato chips.

these are the perfect size for 900kv on 4s or 1300 on 3s. The 1000kv motors spin these fine and get way better mileage than the same motors with 8's or 10's on 3s, but they'll hove 1/3 stick in manual weighing 1800-2kg

well i was forced to break my own rules with this purchase. I am of the opinion - when you like something, leave it alone. I am apparently one of the few that thinks the 8" DJI props on stock 550 work great. I dont just like that ship, I love it (hence breaking my own rules with the prop purchase). Im going to try these 9" on that stock 550 4s and see what happens. I am running the Graup props on a different ship and do like them. Saw the price and felt like the deal was too spicy to pass up. Damn you Kloner!!!! do try and stay cool, i here big temps in your area....

i'm unfamilliar with the hex, but it's gotta be something the same....... they should lift a little more, raise your draw a hair, but have alot more power and are still in range. one thing it does for sure is shifts your hovering rpm so the jello or vibrations shift depending how you dampen the cam can matter. 8's to me are smooth but kinda sluggish. when i'm going foward full tilt and need 3 feet of elevation, the 8's make me pull back on the cyclic and climb like that, the 9's let me give it a little throttle and it goes up pretty reliably. enough to notice in fpv. The whole depth thing is tough enough without giving a heli full throttle to climb in atti and it doesn't seem like it is. That's the whole story behind my "tbs maiden" vid last week

hot, hot. Got all the cold air could get in the house last night and it's 76 degrees in here. suppose to cruise into the low hundreds at home. looks like the kids and i will be found in the pool today between ice cream breaks and naps. what a life..... lol

Got a box full of shrink wrap coming in to finish up my helicals today. Tore apart my tracker yesterday and sanded/epoxied the whole thing. Went through the eagle eyes and gave it a major diet. Then took that mongo capture recorder and gave it a even bigger diet. Got some fun stuff to look at later today when i get it all photographed
