GPS position hold

Flew carboncore 950mm Quadcopter for the first time last night in 15 mph winds, all went well apart from a disappointing position hold when in GPS mode...when head on into wind the drift wasn't too bad but sideways on the drift was very noticeable. Does anyone have any ideas on gain settings adjustments that would improve this. All current settings as factory default apart from pitch and roll which are set to 170.

I think TonyZ on RCG sells those frames right? Might be best to ask him what he has found to be the best gains since he uses WKM and his setup is nicely dialed in. Carboncore with 10 - 12" props and regular ESC's I would recommend the gains I have on my CineStar6: 240, 240, 200, 140 and atti variable between 40 - 100. Would need to know what ESC's (simonk firmware?) and wkm firmware you are running to give better advice though. If you have ESCs with simonk i think you need to increase atti to around 150 and lower the other gains.

Ah ok yeah not sure what gains would work for you on the Naza on a large rig. I have a Naza w/ GPS my self but pretty much default settings since its on a small quad. It holds pretty good so you should be able to tune yours to hold better. Hopefully some one else has some experience to share with naza on a larger copter.
