I don't think the gps antenna can be upgraded. The old one had red lettering and the new one has orange lettering. I've had both. I think they're the same.
I'm trying to remember how to tell if our GPS antenna has had or needs the update from quite a while back. My GPS antenna's say V2 and one has V2 with V2.1 written on it in felt pen.
Not correct. Probably over a year ago they had a recall on the WKM GPS antennas and everyone had to send them to the dealer or DJI. I just can't remember when you got them back how to tell which ones had been done and also how to tell which ones didn't need it. I remember the ones with black strips on each side of the top didn't need the update but that is all I can remember.

rwilabee, you are correct that it was the first wave of V2 antennas that had the problem. But from what I have seen, you can't really tell them apart. They both simply say "V2".
