cool stuff, so you just heat it up and mold to shape ?
How strong is it ?

Yes it molds like clay until it cools.

I was just messing around with the stuff to get a feel for it. I thought I was going to be able to pull the aluminum tubes out when it cooled. No dice. It isn't coming off.

It hardens to something similar to nylon. The aluminum will bend first. I'm going to fly it with just the plastic and no bolts.

I think it will work well to fill the ends of my round motor arms on the quad so they don't crush in the clamps.

I'm off to make some servo mounts now.

That stuff your using has an uncanny resemblance to C4. Where do you mount the detonator Crash?

We have a two part material that we use in the HVAC industry that once mixed with your fingers does basically the same thing. I'll bet two bits it's made by the same Co.

Maybe it is C4? It has a funny taste and it burns.:p

I think I have seen that HVAC stuff. Is it like magic putty?
This plastic is reuseable.:) It's not meant to be permanent though.

Below is the very quick and dirty frame. The bottom tube is a swivel for two air control surfaces. I may have to move the servos.

PS. Thanks for reminding me that I need to order some July 4th 'supplies'.

PPS. Are you going to try a CC board on one of your planes?
