GoPro WiFi Remote

Hi, Just got a Hero3 black. Updated the camera firmware, but can anyone tell me if you need to update the WiFi remote firmware, and if so how's it done?

I believe you do need to update the remote. Similar way to updating the camera but plug in the remote. (I have the Hero2 so might be slightly different)
