GoPro Video is "Jumpy" in GoPro Studio Playback

When I ingest my GoPro Hero 4 Black footage into GoPro Studio 2.0 it plays poorly. At one second intervals the image seems to drop a frame or two making the shot look "jumpy" or "choppy".

My MacBook Pro is sufficient for the GoPro Studio. I have only tested this at footage recorded at 1080p at 30fps. What am I missing to get clean, flowing video???
