GoPro 3 anamorphic adapter

I just saw this lens adapter for the gopro3 3+, how practical would this be for use on a copter? Anyone plan on picking one up?

Going to be a problem for those that use a gimbal due to the weight I think.

And I am only shooting video for my own use so not so attractive anyway. I mostly shoot narrow anyway, helps keep props out of the way, this will make the problem much worse.

Looks interesting.... at 200 bucks though you might as well spend that money on a ribcage kit instead.
