Basic and still in development but

About time, that's all I can say. So much more can be done with this principle (gravity, counterbalancing and damping). Theoretically this could be placed on an independent panning platform too.

I'm just stunned nothing like this hasn't emerged from USA or Europe (unless this an ECILOP inspired copy?)

Yep - a straight copy of the Ecilop idea - as is the ZeroUAV machine. Effectively a flying Steadicam. Tricky to set up properly and ultimately limited in its scalability. Plus it must be a nightmare to transport.
