Gimbal camera setup for a firewheel 450 frame.

Is it possible to attach a 2 or 3 axis gimbal camera to a flamewheel f450 frame? If so, what models are recommended? Should a 2nd battery be used?

Yes it is possible, but you'd have to get some long legs on it somehow. I run my gimbles off of the balance lead from my 3C battery. On my hex, I use a separate small 3C battery.

You could build your own fpv quad for quite a bit less than the price of a phantom 3 advanced, "IF" you have the time, patience, knowledge, and required tools. I started out with 3 ready to fly quads, then as I began to do research on how they work, and all the different components available, I got into building my own from kits, a frame here, motors there, esc's, transmitter, batteries, chargers, etc. etc. It can be REAL frustrating at times, but also REAL rewarding, when you get one all built, tuned, and flying like you want it to. I'd suggest LOT'S of reading on forums like this one, and others, before you start buying though. Just my opinion. And beware, it's ADDICTIVE for sure!

Good advice from Cooter above. Nothing to add other than to perhaps get a little indoor $75 toy quad to practice on. You WILL crash a lot at first. Best to do that on cheap toys and simulators ;)
