You will have to use a BEC with 4S

I run a 3S 4000Mah 25C lipo with the Crane 2 Gimbal and Gopro HD 2 and 1.2Ghz fpv gear with no problems ever.

I am using all the stock ESC and motors for the 500X and the GU-INS controller with GPS

My 500X can reach 5000 feet in under 5 minutes with the 3S 4000Mah 25C lipo
