FPV Ground Station Plan

I am going on 70 years of age so I don't anticipate needing a fully portable ground station. Instead I am putting together a rather heavy power user. Any suggestion or ideas before I get too far along would be appreciated.
My plan is to use a case in which I have a 12 Volt to 120 volt inverter. I will have space for my laptop and will have it running Mission Planner. Mounted in the top lid will be a 17"computer monitor for FPV. The laptop processes the input and delivers it to the second screen with almost no delay. It and the Laptop will use 120 Volts. I have a Pinnacle video converter and it uses USB for input and power. Finally my receiver and optional charger will require 12 volts. My intent is to make up a 50-100 foot extension cord and run it to my car or truck. If real portability is required, I will take my 600 amp jump start battery to the flight area. I am thinking I might need a fan in the case as well.
Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.
