Hello can someone help
--We are new to Flir Systems and I am stuck with relevant information with regards to battery power (if batteries are available to Tau 320 or not).

--Also is the Micro Video Processing unit SLA 1500 (Sight Line Application) compatible with the Tau 320, as we want to record video.

Uhm. Very few people have the resources (read: CASH) to have such a system. So, while we all dream about having one, can you post some pics?? Perhaps a video???

You need the VPC module in addition to the flir tau. Then you can power the flir from an onboard source 5-6V and you get AV-out.

(I am using a flir tau 640):

Ferdinand, how does the quality and output compare to the more traditional flir handheld cameras? Can you get a scale or legend? All of the video I have seen of the tau so far us just the thermal gradients.
