Hi Zaxxon, good video, can I ask your system config. and gimbal used. Photos would be nice.

Hi guys,
thank you for the comments, I want to get some smooth footage for a good video so I'll concentrate on less hot dogging and more gentle turns. I managed to 'crash' the model on that session, not bad damage and proof that they are pretty tough. I hit a barb wire fence on a fast pass, the model flipped 90 degrees but corrected itself and continued to fly. Quite impressive really, just how good the stabilization is. I had damage to the gimbla mount wiring and undercarriage but that is all fixed now and working as well as before.
I have the video and I'll keep it to remind me to take it a bit more easy with this model.

Bruce,

Gimbal is a http://www.aeroxcraft.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_25&products_id=41 but with a Go Pro 2 fitted (as it is fatter I cannot put the gimbal cage front piece on as it is designed for the go Pro 3) Go Pro 3 is my next purchase.

landing gear is http://www.aeroxcraft.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=20

Both excellent quality, really nice fit and build. I'm really pleased with them.

Battery is a 14.8v 6500

rest of the model is stock.

Hi Zaxxon, I enjoyed it just as much the second time, good music choice. I also have the F550 and have been pondering which brushless gimbal to get for my GoPro2, surprised that yours fits into a goPro3 gimbal. AeroXcraft I thought were going to market a GoPro2 gimbal also (that would be better as one could then fit both camera versions easily).

That gimbal nets very good results.

Did you have to change the gimbal setting to account for the extra weight of the GoPro2?

also from italy i'm not able to see them... "removed from user"

Yep sorry about that, had some problems with the quality uploaded to Youtube.
Unfortunately I cannot edit the previous posts to correct this.

I wouldn't recommend the Go Pro2 with the Aeroxcraft mount as I think the heavier weight does not suit the mount. On medium to hard maneuvers the camera cradle flips down and then resets itself. I will be buying a Hero 3 soon as it fits the cradle and should stop the flipping.

It doesnt, its for a Go Pro 3, thats why I asked if you had changed the settings when you used your Go Pro 2, the slightest change in weight will affect the gimbal.

No I have not changed anything, I thought I would give the Hero 2 a try whilst I am waiting for the Hero 3. It works but I just have to fly smoothly.
I'll have to wait a couple of weeks before ordering the Hero 3 as I just spent the money on some mountain bike lights so the toy fund is a bit depleted at the moment.
