Failsafe jumping all over the place

I'm running a JR 11x and EzUHF system on my octo.

I set the failsafe, but whenever I turn off the transmitter the arrow in the tx calibration jumps between failsafe and the mode it was previousley in about once per second. Anybody else encounter this? I've tried lots of different things but cannot seem to remedy the problem.

This post may be deleted. I was used to running my EZUHF from a futaba ff9. The EZUHF ran from the futabas battery but with the JR 11x I have to use an external power supply for the ezuhf.....so turning my transmitter off was not killing the signal, just killing the ppm stream...........IDIOT.
