almost got the gains dialed in after quite a few flights. its looking like its liking 100 for the atti's and 115-120 for pitch and roll, and 100 for yaw, and 100 for vert.
need to find a way to increase it enough so that i can do some better banking turns.

Newbie question- You found that 1250 kv motors were too 'hot' for stability. Would you have been able to swap the props for a less aggressive prop to get the same improvement in stability?
Would it make sense to go with a minimum speed/max torque motor and larger or steeper pitch props?

Thank you.

the 1250's didnt work for 4s, so i put on some suppo's 2814 1000kv's
how ever the 1250's work great on the quad on 3s, lots of power and kick.

next build im looking at is going to be a pvc frame, and a frankenquad since both are far cheaper then sticking with a dji, esp when it comes to parts.

Have you seen the new prices of the DJI frames? They dropped by over 50%. The F550 is now less than $50 and spare arms are only $4/each.
