F550 build question

Brand new to the forums and also multirotors but I tried searching for an answer and can't seem to find one.

Here's the question - I just purchased a DJI F550 kit a few weeks ago. I sat down to start building it this evening and after unpacking everything I noticed there are 6 red, round washers that look like they should be mounted to the bottom of each motor. My kit didn't come with instructions so I downloaded them directly from DJI. They don't have these "spacers" listed anywhere that I can find. I also watched at least 4 build videos and again, no mention of these spacer type pieces.

Just wante to know if they indeed go between the motors and the frame and are they mandatory or are they some sort of shim for balancing?

Thanks,
Mike

I believe they are from older kits and they go under props such as the graupners as they are not high enough on the shaft to lock down properly

Here's a picture of them so you can see what I'm trying to describe. They fit the bottoms of the motors perfectly so I'm pretty sure they're supposed to go between the motor and the plastic arms.View attachment 6064

I used mine just in case of screw length for motors if their in the kit must be a good reason for them to be in it.
