F450 prop choice

I read everywhere that the 8" is designed for 4s flight, and 10" for 3s.
But Will there be any problems running 8" and 3s?

I Got a gopro mount at the front, and im affraid the 10" props Might hit it.

Yes it will be a bit marginal in lift with the 8 inch props on 3S, grab some 4S packs and you will be fine.

Im not doping any wild flying
And the smaller props will give less lift?
Im just wondering if would burn the electronics as they work harder to stay airborn?

no problems I run 10 on a 4s with a f550. You get more lifting power which means you can carry more weight and if you add that extra weight because it can now lift it that's when you run into trouble.

8 inch will be less lift slower flights less flight time. I would recomened just getting the DJI 1038 plastic props they work really well and are cheap. Graupner if your used to flying and want a stiffer prop but the dji ones work really well and are way harder to break then the graupner props (i broke them more the once never broke the plastic dji one figure that out)

all quads/multi,s are different and trying different combo,s is a good thing, larger diameter more lift & longer flight time, but check that your motors & ESCs Dont overheat.

Got the tbs Discovery frame to spred the front arms
Then i Can still use the 10" pros without risking my camera
