F450 2212 920kv e300 struggles to lift off

I just recently built a dji f450 arf kit with E300 tuned propulsion system and 9.4 inch props. It has no camera or fpv system just the 5500mah 3s lipo(420g). When I go to take off I have to give it full throttle and move my other stick around to get it to move. I have been to my local hobby shop for help but they are useless and always act like I'm bothering them. Should it be hard to take off? Videos on YouTube seem like they get up quicker. Should I get bigger props, or maybe smaller or bigger battery? I plan on using this for fpv and if it strugles now I wonder if it would even leave the ground with gopro and all that. I have tuned my ESC and my compass. Please help

I have the same rig and my quad has no problem getting off the ground with either a 3S 2200 (650 g) or a 4S 4000 (880 g). Obviously a little quicker with the 4S . I can carry a go pro without any difficulty or noticeable loss of performance. Again, obviously a little more zippy with the 4S. You don't say what your FC is - mine is a DJI Naza M V2. Are you sure you have a 3S battery - 420 g seems a little light for that much battery. All my 3S weigh in around 800 g. If you are using a Naza FC check the idle speed in the setup software. My 450 needs a bit more than 50% throttle to lift off but at that point it easily gets off the ground into a nice hover and will go like a bat out of hades thereafter. .

My FC is the NAZA M lite with gps. The battery is a floureon 11.1 v 35c 5500mah 3s lipo. The website I got it from said 420g. Mine says 423g. I have already upped the idle speed a notch. If I take the props off with it set on atti or gps mode and have it at WOT it spins slower than WOT in manual mode. What would cause this
