I just picked up a few new upgrades and I was wondering what, if anything, there is to know about them. I got the following and any advice or warnings is greatly appreciated.

Eagle Tree PRO OSD
Eagle Tree 150A data logger V4
Eagle Tree Altitude sensor V4
Eagle Tree Temp sensor
Eagle Tree GPS 10hz V4

Anything I should know? Avoid? Any bugs? Anything I need to do before I start installing this? Give me the ups and downs if you will...I don't want to have to learn that hard way :) Thanks!!!

that's all you need. gps away from rc transmission, don't hook any of the ail, ele, rud through it, just hook the ET stuff together. If you want to be able to change stuff on the fly with a switch, you can give it one or two inputs, but you won't need it unless tracking to reset home

What does this mean, "...but you won't need it unless tracking to reset home"? I heard that you should hook up the throttle because power comes from there as well as the battery input, is that correct? It's almost like battery backup I guess from what I understand just reading the manual, is that what you did? I bought the altimeter because I read a post you put out saying the GPS was not accurate for altitude but the altimeter is etc etc. What are the advantages to being able to change settings on the fly? I saw in one video you are about 2-3 miles out and changing "something" :) Thanks!

when you boot up, home is usually off a few feet, so you lay the model under the tracker antenna and navigate reset home position

Guardian is configurable through the menu, you wont use that. not using return to home through the osd pro makes setup pretty simple

only thin i use is 1 three way switch, can change anything while flying, can turn off the osd can switch to 8 different screens if you want, different info/layout set by you. on multi rotors, all i do is setup the eagle tree as the directions minus all the rc inputs. It's a great unit, really is.

Wow, sounds like I will really like it. I can't wait to get some time to install it. I have to rewire my video setup which won't be too much pain. I'm assuming everyone uses servo extension cables with these that they solder in to their audio and video input/outputs to hook into the Eagle Tree? Do you use voltage warnings? Do you have to set the "alarms" every time you switch battery sets of different capacities or are there pre-sets etc?
