Sounds like they arrested a 26 year old NYC teacher and charges him with reckless endangerment and flying a drone in a public park in a no fly zone. Hopefully they make the charges stick, unfortunately someone is gonna have to be made an example of what you may face if you don't respect the guidelines for flying safe. JMO

The teacher happened to work at the tech satellite school as well, which is an extra black eye.

Can hear it now: "If the tech experts can't handle these things, who can?"

Pennetta said she heard the drone fly by and was not sure what it was. Her initial reaction, she said afterward, was that it might have been a bomb.

“All of these (security measures), and then it comes in from above,” Pennetta said. “If there had been spectators, it would have hit them and done a lot of damage.”

I hate to say this but I think outright bans are coming sooner than we'd like.
