Dogs and Lipo's not a good mix

Dog went into my lipo bag and decided it was a bone. Long story short if my son didn't come home when he did my house would have burnt down! Battery exploded, lit my rug on fire and the fire dropped into my basement.

Need to get a lock box I guess. Was a 5000 Lipo. Scary stuff...

And the dog ??? I've got 2 (dogs) and have worried about the same thing. I keep my batteries in a metal ammo box, except for all the ones I have lying here and there. "I know, I know".......................

I hope the critter is OK, but I'll bet he got a jolt, probably a lot worse than puttin your tongue on a 9 volt! I'm breaking in a new critter here, young, and chews like a billy goat! But I luv em.

It was definitely a shock to him. Both dogs were completely worked up. The house was fully charged with smoke...

He grabbed the lead from the battery and pulled it out a tiny opening. Crazy luck. Just glad he didn't bite it a foot either way as the couch or chair would have went up and it would have been pretty bad.
