Do I need more channels?

I recently finished my first build (equip listed in signature) and I was wondering if my AR6210 6ch receiver has enough channels to:
Run flight controls for naza m lite, control flight mode on 3 pos switch, return to home fail safe on a switch and control pan up and down on my gimbal.

No if you want to control the home lock or course lock you will need another two way switch.

What tx are do you have dx6i? If so how did you control the pan for the gimbal? did you install a servo switch or something?

I am using a dx8. I have the gimbal set up on a 3pos switch. And it is running directly into my receiver not through my naza

Easy? You call that easy?
I believe the failsafe won't work with the AR6210. I think I read it only supports 'smart safe' not full failsafe which means only the throttle channel works. Have you tried turning off the transmitter in the assistant to see if failsafe activates?

You can live without failsafe in the very beginning, just fly close by. Make sure when you bind the throttle is at 50%, that way at least your aircraft will just hover there until you run over to it, hopefully!

I would get a bigger receiver. The AR10000 is good, has two satellites. Although with a DX8 the AR8000 would be fine, I think that one has failsafe on all the channels.
