DJI WMK remote gain adjust help

Using assist software for DJI WKM it recommends you adjust gains by 10-15% at a time so why does remote gain (set on my 3 way switch on X2) double or half the settings? Or have I got this wrong somehow. Any help much appreciated.

Sorry should have posted in DJI posts, re-posted.

You need to set remote gains on either a slider or a dial , or even a trim switch like on the DX8.
Using a 3 way switch will cause the gains to move in relation to the travel assigned to the switch if that makes sense.

Wow, that was quick, thanks Geoff. Got it now, I thought something was wrong, I'm using 8FG so I'll assign a rotary dial. Should I enable only one gain at a time? For example roll first then set pitch. Regards Andy

Hi Andy
Yes I usually assign one for Pitch and one for Altitude , then when your happy plug into pc again and the settings will show according to dial position.
The settings will be pretty much the same for pitch and roll so you can manually type in the same setting for roll as you have for pitch .
Hoping all that makes sense and you get it dialled in nice and sweet.

Geoff that makes perfect sense, you make this forum priceless, thanks for sharing your wealth experience and knowledge. Going to set up the TX and assist now in the hope to get a couple of flights in today.

How can you assign a parameter to a CH when using s-bus? I have the gain connected, shows up in the software, when twisting dial it moves. But don't know what it doe right now, nothing it seems.

Is the gain moving when you turn the dial ?

when turning the dial X2 moves on the stick monitor of pc

on X3 the gimbal pitch (tilt) works as intended. by the way on this, i have an X650 with the new V@ stuff and XA center and you can put in stick speed gain there!!! with is awesome! the picht will always go smooth and slow.
