Here's the first flight with Go-pro hard mounted using Velcro and a zip-tie.

Thanks, current mount temporary until I can figure out what gimble to buy. I was surprised to see how vibration/jello free the video looked mounted to the frame

Thanks for the pics Mikael - very useful in helping with my own build - F550 with WKM.. Please post more pics as you progress with the Gimbal - my priority is also to get mine in the air, then focus on that as a secondary build.

I have everything built now, but am having problems registering / logging into the Wookong Assistant software - I keep getting an 'The network is abnormal, check the network status.' message - did you have any problems with the software?

Thanks!

You are welcome, I didn't have any problems with the software. Just make sure the dji driver is installed, that you have an internet connection, and that your login info is correct.

They are rctimer 2836/9 880kv. I've been using them in all of my builds including dji f450 WKM and Hoverfly Pro with no major issues.

have you run a logger on either? do you know what the draw is by chance? just curious

them are some big motors

I've not run a logger on them. Website says 40A. My hobbyking 40A blue series are rated to a burst current of 60A. Nothing ever got hot in my previous builds with this setup but I haven't flown the f550 enough to see if it gets hot beyond 5 minutes of flight. is there cause for concern with this setup?

not that i know of.... the ratings and what they draw are two different things. that's the max amp draw you want to see on a logger, weight, props, flight style all make different numbers, all i've seen on my 450 extremely low, like 10 amps a motor with 2215. just went from 2215 to 2814 so was curious what i was looking at and if there was numbers.

i use eagle tree, but if you ever plan going with an osd, this is a good time to pick the brand you want to use later.

i.php

looks like that, but can configure it to display all kinds of stuff or add sensors, etc.
