DJI releases New Firmware V1.1.0.40 for Inspire 1 Pro


The latest Inspire 1 Pro firmware has been released. Download the firmware update package from the product page on the official DJI website http://www.dji.com/product/inspire-1-pro-and-raw/download. Use a Micro SD card for firmware upgrade.

Overview

1. Upgrade the firmware to v1.1.0.40.
2. Upgrade the DJI GO app iOS to v2.4.2.
3. Upgrade the DJI GO app Android to v2.4.1.

New Features

1. Updated list of compatible lenses: Olympus 25mm/f1.8, 45mm/f1.8 and 14-42/f3.5-5.6.
2. Increased the output bit-width of the sensor from 10bit to 12bit for 4kP30/25/24, 2.7KP30/25/24 and 1080P30/25/24.
3. Improved the AF zooming function (new AF auxiliary focus button in the menu).
4. Improved the image quality by fine tuning the sharpness and contrast.
5. Increased the shutter speed upper limit from 1/2 s to 2 s when shooting in ‘A’ mode.
6. Fixed issue of the white balance tending to be warm in the daylight.
7. The DNG format now supports the noise profile and sharpness profile.
8. Fixed issue of occasional flickering exposure changes in Auto Exposure mode.
9. Fixed issue of corrupted DNG due to missing lens profile.
10. Optimized system stability.
11. Optimized the gimbal control parameters for better performance.
12. Optimized the Waypoints feature.

Note:

The firmware can be downgraded to v1.0.0.30 or later only.

Interesting that DJI state that a downgrade is possible. No doubt everyone is waiting for someone else to try it first! Not that DJI would let firmware be released before trailing it properly..... hard luck if it's out of warrantee!
I'm not bitter, just twisted and out of pocket.

I have a standard Inspire 1 and upgraded the camera to the x5 so far I cant upgrade from v1.0.0.30 to the v1.0.0.40 is this only for the Pro version?
