The Phantom FC40 is the beloved Phantom, all grown up. It comes with its own built in DJI designed smart camera,

which supports 720p/30fps HD video and can be controlled through an iOS or Android app running over a 2.4G Wi-Fi connection.

I went out and flew my FC40 today. It is basically a Phantom v1.1.1 with a 5.8ghz Tx and the FC40 camera. You can look up the specs on DJI's website. I will be downloading both video and pictures soon. The basic set up is P1 and flies the same. I like the FC40 for what it was intended, a simple camera for pictures and video. What sets it apart is the iOS and Android app that allows you to see what tube camera is seeing. You can control video and picture capture and can zoom to 10x digital both for pictures and video. Yes I said video as well! The down side is that the wifi is not up to the same standard as the Phantom 2 Vision. But neither is the price. You will be limited on the wifi range to about 100' +/-. For me that is not a deal killer for the price. Most Realtors will tell you the same. More to come.
