Dji naza VU only flashes red

Hi all

i have a problem when I start up my naza. I've seen that the VU is supposed to flash green and orange then red, mine only flashes red (3 flashes at a time), I have the voltage protection off and a full battery. I am wondering if I have broken the actual green and orange led's, it was mounted underneath a discovery where there is not much room, as I have not seen them. Can anyone help with this please. Thanks Rob

Easy? You call that easy?
Three flashes repeating for a while? Three flashes means no GPS lock. Manual mode just has red flashes. GPS is green and ATTI is yellow. What mode are you in? All confirmed in the software?

Hi Benjamin, thanks for e reply. In any mode just 3 red flashes. All good when the naza is plugged into the PC it all seems to work well. I can easily go from manual to atti to GPS mode. Then when I am not plugged into the pc just some red flashes, the TX is connected its not fast flashes like no signal just no GPS, I've tried to re calibrate the compass and no orange light either when I flick from atti to GPS 10 times strange, I'm starting to think more and more I've broken the VU. Any other ideas?
thanks Rob

Hmm. Could be. The LED's on the VU are quite sensitive and exposed. Did they get a knock? If the only colour is red then I guess the other two have gone.

What version of the Naza is it? what colors do you see when you first power it up? If you plug your Naza into the computer, does the LED turn green?

3 red in manual = < 5 sats
3 red 1 yellow in ATTI = < 5 sats
3 red 1 green in GPS = < 5 sats

I see no other reason but a bad LED to indicate anything else.

Hi People
Thanks for the responses. I have not crashed the quad so the LEDs have not taken a big hit, but where i mounted them under the Discovery they did hit the ground sometimes so its quite possible if they are sensitive that they have broken, i hope that is all it is.
When i plug it into the PC no green at all, i actually cannot remember the last time i saw a green or orange light at all.

Its a version 1 Naza with the latest firmware.

Thanks again, i think ill order a new VU unit.
