DJI Naza configuration. How should I space my FC, gps, and RX out?

Hi everyone, So I just connected my DJ naza V2 to my just built Next level 650 Quad. I am planning to do my first FPV flights with this thing down the road. None the less I wanted to be sure how I should space out my electronics on the quad. I am going to go ahead and get the camera mount extensions which will give me more space to move things around on board, but basically can someone verifiy what can and shouldn't be close to each other. I'm thinking, that the GPS and radio RX, as well as any Video TX should be as far as part as possible. But how about the flight controller? This will be centered on the quad, so everything will be moved in relation to it. I guess what I really want to know, is can my Radio RX be nearer to it and or the GPS?

As for the FC, it doesn't require spacing from the anything. You can mount the Rx right next to it. The GPS you'll just want to get it up higher so that it doesn't get prop interference, from my understanding. On my octo, I do have the Rx and VTx about 8 inches apart, but that more because of where they actually best fit, and I don't know what guidelines people have come across for that.

Hi, I agree with ProPilot I have on my F550 the FC (Naza) and Futaba RX side by side (placed RX on left side of Naza to protect naza from sunlight and the issue this causes) and there is no effect on either unit.

Probably a good idea to keep the radio RX as far as reasonable from the Video TX and make sure there is a frequency difference between the two (example Radio 2.4 Ghz Video 5.8 Ghz or use UHF and 2.4 video).

The GPS unit is very sensitive to interference so on a mast is ideal as far away as possible, especially from noisy things like a goPro. I had my GoPro2 only 4 inches from the naza gps (they were horizontally level) and if I turned on the GoPro I could not get a satellite lock (always 3 red flashes even after 5 - 6 minutes), turn the GoPro off and no problem lock in about 30 seconds.

I ended up wrapping my GoPro in copper foil and that worked like magic (templates available at hovership.com) its as if the GoPro is not even there.
