DJI and GR-16 HOTT

Hello,

I start buiding a octocopter, but since i'm a complete newbie, i already got into troubles.

I try to connect DJI Main Controller with Graupner GR-16, but it seems the conenctor i got form DJI kit does not fit in GR-16 because of a little shoulder on the connector.

Logic says something is wrong here, like DJI is not compatible with Graupner GR-16.

I may try to cut the shoulder but then i'm not sure about the right position of the cable.

Any advice please?

You can cut the little tab off with an xacto knife or razor blade. Then to plug into your graupner, there should be a diagram of the wire layout. Usually +/-/Signal. With The wires coming from your wookong, the ORANGE wire is signal. Just make sure the Signal wire is plugged in to the signal side of your Graupner.

Thanks for the tip! It worked! There was no need to rewire the end going to GR-16, the layout is the same with DJI Wookong side : Signal/+/- or orange/red/brown.
