DJI 30 amp Opto esc

Is it necessary to throttle calibrate these ESCs? If so is it done in the normal way?

I tried to calibrate the 45 amp multistar opts. Full throttle causes the esc to acknowledge the effort to set max speed. Then zero tx throttle causes esc to acknowledge minimum or zero speed via tone. But net results do not change at all..... Therefore they must be fixed and there is no mention in any documentation of speedrange calibration feature!
