Datalink receiver - what am i doing wrong!!?

Thanks Peter, I now have a working google earth just can't get it to see my wireless link. Something to do with the drivers.

Drivers indeed! Go to your OS Device Manager and look for a yellow caution sign. Delete faulty drivers and re-install.
Once communcation is achieved through your USB port you should be well on your way to the finish line.

Unfortunately driver issues are more of an OS issue versus DJI...... but there may be newer drivers for the latest release of GS.
Also you may be requested to install two drivers.... one from DJI and another from Microsoft..... a bit confusing but there is a modem driver and a radio system driver.

Also note that there's two different drivers. One set you'll have to manually find on your install disk and the driver installed from the install panel. The one you manually install is for older LK units as they use an older chipset for usb to serial conversion. They don't work with the newer driver. I've got one LK900 in the 1400 serial number range that only works with the new driver and a 400 series that only works with the older driver. A real pain. But since both have packed it in, hopefully I'll get two newer models.
