Cycling Between Modes

I did it !! I got the nerve and flipped the RTH switch on my flamewheel 450. The Woo Kong controller brought her back home safe and sound. Had a tear in ma eye... Now, let's say while in "returning home mode" I decide to take over - I flip the RTH switch off - what happens if I do not cycle between GPS and ATTIT mode? Must I even cycle? I also wired in my 5.8GHZ FPV camera system. Every so often (maybe 15-20 seconds) the screen looses picture for a second but quickly recovers. Antenna's are correctly positioned and this happens in less than 50 feet. Gonna be something to fiqure this one out huh..
Thanks guys - as always.. Al

Yes, you must switch modes to cancel out of rth And take back control. Just switching off the failsafe switch is not enough.

As far as your vtx signal is concerned, sounds like a placement thing. Give us some pics to work with, please.

Oh, and congrats on a successful rth! Always better than a RTC, ( C = China ).

As Tom suggested it sounds sounds like placement it could be getting a little warm as well I always have my TX near some prop wash to help it cool down a little..

I will experiment some more with the placement of the CCTV antennas and report back. Tomstoy you had me laughing so hard with that RTC (China). Too dang funny. So if I am in the RTH mode and decide to re-gain control, I will flip off RTH and flip from GPS to ATT back to GPS quickly and she is back in my control. Scary but will try it... Thanks for the support everyone -
