Current state of Wookong?

Hey Gang,

The last few months I have had my eye on everything except updates for the Wookong. To avoid the problems I've seen many have with several of the most recent firmware updates, I'm still running 5.16 with no problems. Has anyone had good luck with anything new lately? I know that lots of people seemed to have GPS issues (dropping out and reverting to ATTI on it's own), so has that been fixed yet?

Im on 5.26 and have been running it for some time now. No problems what so ever.

What version of the hardware are you running, out of curiosity? When did you get your Wookong?

I'm using 5.22 for a month. Working fine. Had a motor/ESC stop working in flight last week and my hexa still had full control and landed well. Wookong bought in April and have IMU V2. I've used 5.20 and 5.16 also. All good.

I am flying 5.24 with a IMU V1 and fly 80% of the time in Atti mode, no issue to date, Due to replace IMU with V2 which i have but won't have time to test it fully before i want to get some footage at Christmas so will do this in January.

I've been using firmware 5.20 for a long time having logged over 100 flights..... no issues whatsoever. However I do not use the built-in gimbal functionality as I have a BGC with it's own IMU and remote RC pitch control bypasses the FC from Rx directly to BGC. While I like the concept of IPhone Bluetooth control of FC gains etc. my IPHone 4 does not accommodate the newer Bluetooth hardware etc. maybe later after I upgrade the IPhone to 4C or better.
