In my eyes totally right ssjheli. Its a compromise nothing else with the FCs and them controlling the servos of the Gimbals. I think there are several attempts to mount gyros or FCs dedicated ot the gimbal direclty onto the gimbal, didnt really see any results up to now that impressed me. But lets see what picloc brings us !

A lot of people have had success using a FyeTech FY-30A 3-axis stabilizer to control the gimbal servos. I would think you could also use a pair of heading hold tail gyros, but I've never tried this.

That said, I don't think there's anything wrong with the WK-M's gimbal outputs, except for the drifting/hunting problem around the neutral point, which they are looking into right now. The outputs are at a plenty fast enough rate and have more than enough resolution. There's no detectable lag either. I fail to see how this is a compromise.
