Could I switch out the gimbal controller?

So I have the Quanum Q-3D gimbal, and it is great, but the problem is that I cannot control yaw from my Tx. Could I go ahead and switch out the controller to one that allows this? Would that work?

You probably could if you have access to where the imu is placed, and the size of the controller fits the mount.

I would say in the end it will just be easier to get a new gimbal. Unless you have time and like tinkering. You may end of rendering your current gimbal useless though.

+1. No question there are probably cheap alternatives that run off alexmos controllers that will save time and money.

But if you like to tinker - have at it! :)
