Compass Calibration

I can't seem to enter the compass calibration. I have a Hitec A9 I tried with EPA at 100%/100% and max 140%/140%. I toggle the 3 position switch back and forth 10+ times and never get a solid blue light.

I even did 83% / 83% since thats when the end points are correct to trigger gps and manual.

Any one have any advice? Thanks.

Do you guys at least see it flashing blue for a second but you cant keep it in the state of a blue solid light or you guys ever actually see the blue light ?

In any case it is important that you toggle the 3 flight modes min. 8 times and than as last move switch to manual mode and keep it there. The blue light should stay solid and you can start the calibration !

All working now except some motors are clunking and are not spinning properly. Is this something to do with the esc programming? Has anyone else experienced a problem similar to this?

When you spool her up to get light on the groud do they all behave..? I have one lazy motor that looks like it aint going to go then at the last sec it runs.. I also have some clicking at low revs.. I am tiold I need to calibrate my escs but I aint got round to doing it yet

I have the same problem. I really think its because I have set my 3 position switch to gps, atti and fail safe. I am sure if I set it to gps, atti and manual, it will work again.

Sounds like your motors are not timed correctly Dave.

That's the same problem I had. Once I tweaked the settings to jump from GPS to Manual, all worked as expected.

Thanks for the advice guys. I set the endpoints to hit the manual mode for posistion 1 and gps for posistion 3. I toggled the switch 8 times and stopped on manual mode and after 2sec it turned blue. I was expecting it to turn blue while i toggle the switch but it didnt for me until after I stopped and landed back on manual mode.

You do have to flip the switch very fast. I count to 10 one for each time the switch is in the GPS position then end up in Manual mode.
